Changelog April 14th 26

After a thorough review of the Game Design Document (GDD) I found quite a few gaps and inconsistencies that need to be fixed. Several classes were still missing special abilities, some game mechanics either either flawed or missing. So we are currently in the process of fixing all that. At the same time it was decided that monsters have a chance to drop some loot in addition to gold and experience. So here a list of the most important changes:

  • class abilities added for paladins, clerics, thieves and rangers
  • all races have now racial abilities
  • the resting mechanic has been redesigned and fixed
  • curses have been added. Be careful curses can only be lifted at a shrine or using a spell.
  • now you will meet the monsters face to face. Each has its own image
  • new images added for races, classes, items, events and rooms. More than 100 images have been redone!
  • Players will be able to choose a gender after the next update. A gender is merely cosmetic, but you asked for it ...
  • the dungeon is no longer silent. We have added ambient effects.
  • the combat mechanics have been tuned (again)
  • Paladins and rangers are no longer considered casters. Please drop your spell books off at the exit!
  • shop deliveries are now working.
  • shrines are now more than simple bind points, Try resting at a shrine ....
